Food Pantry wanted to enhance its web site to target its
two most important audiences: its volunteers and its donors.
In order to do
this, they wanted their web site to have a cleaner and more
professional look, more content, Spanish-translated web
page for volunteers and an e-commerce fundraising page.

The main goal of their
site is to bring young people to their career center and provide
the information that would allow people to know the services they
provide.
CyberCorps added a
flash animation of their existing logo to add visual interest
and rollover navigation to provide a feeling of interaction. The
team also took all of the photographs that appear on the site.

Reverend Deborah
Phillips came to CyberCorps to design a web site for the
Church. The CyberCorps team was asked to create a design
that was appealing to families, young people, and newcomers
to Salem. Reverend Phillips gave the team three web sites
she liked and all the written information. All the graphics
and designs were customized by the CyberCorps team. Most
of the photographs of the church, church members and gardens
were taken and edited by CyberCorps members.

North Shore Community
Mediation already had a website which was developed by a member
of its Board of Directors. The assignment given to the CyberCorps
team was to design a website which incorporated the logo, colors
and content of the old web site with a new, clean and professional
look and feel. The task was to design a content-rich site that
was simple and easy to navigate.
For the youth mediation
page, on CyberCorps recommendation, NSCM asked for a fun flash
animation designed around the organization’s logo.

Puzzle is a Rock/Pop band from New York. The four members of the band were looking for a new site to replace their old flash site. With a new look they hoped to bring more traffic to their site and broaden their audience. CyberCorps created a whole new website for them, including a photo gallery with rollovers, a merchandise page, and a music page with lyrics and the ability to listen to select tracks.

Beverly Affordable Housing Coalition came
to Salem CyberSpace to design a new web site. They wanted
a rotating graphic as part of their banner and requested
a Donations page to allow their donors to submit on-line
credit card donations.

Ad Specialities, Inc. was not satisfied with their
existing website and asked for a complete web re-design. CyberCorps
designed a new look and feel, branding and color logo, adding
a flash banner, drop-down navigation and an on-line order form.
In addition, CyberCorps members added photos and many graphic
elements to the site.

Dorothy Stephens is a local author who needed
a website to promote her book Kwa Hiri Means Goodbye about
her family’s life in Kenya during the country’s
last days as a British colony. CyberCorps designed the site,
set up the links to book selling websites and created an
Events page for book readings and signings.

North Shore Community Action Programs, Inc. needed
a complete web site makeover. CyberCorps redesigned this 30 page
website, assisted with photos, added the online donation page
and trained the marketing director to allow her to manage her
own content.

The Salem Garden Club came to us to develop
a new site that would include (1) all of the information
from its print brochures and pamphlets (2) an events listing
and (3) and extensive photo gallery consisting of 50 35mm
photos that needed to be scanned, edited, and resized. In
addition, CyberCorps staff converted the print logo into
a digital file. This was done from scratch using Adobe Photoshop.
Finally, CyberCorps designed a flyer and newspaper announcement
for the 2006 Christmas Boutique.

The Wenham Museum had a website that needed a
new look and a lot of new content. CyberCorps staff spent hours
with the Wenham staff understanding their design preferences and
color choices. New sections of the website include an e-commerce
gift shop and an online donations page.

Jeff Chandler is a talented woodworker-entrepreneur
who travels to many craft shows to show his work. Jeff wanted
a web site that customers can go to buy his beautiful hand-crafted
scroll saw and woodworking products. His web site needed
to be a showcase for his products as well as an e-commerce
site where new and returning customers could purchase his
works.

Jodi Sampson wanted a web site where she could share her experiences
as a mother of a young child diagnosed with cancer and, as a breast
cancer survivor herself. Believing that we are put on this earth
to help others, Jodi wanted an online site to tell others how
she survived through both these illnesses. This web site includes
a video, extensive photography of her exercise routines, and a
selection of inspirational music.

was the first web site for the health center. The project
goal was to develop a website is to provide information
to existing and potential patients and to market to potential

Citizens for Adequate Housing is a Peabody based non-profit that
operates transitional housing for homeless families. They came
to CyberCorps last summer to because they wanted to replace their
existing website which would incorporate a new design and updated
content. The main purpose of the site was to advance the issues
of homelessness in the state and to help them raise money and
recruit volunteers. CyberCorps staff designed the new site and
added an online donation page...

teenagers together to in recreational activities to promote teamwork,
communication, leadership and other social skills. The objective
of the website is to publicize events to increase teen participation
and awareness. CyberCorps was asked to give their existing site

events and obtain assistance in applying to colleges. CAEP
came to CyberCorps for a new website in order to help them
fundraise and to publicize events and news to their participants
and their families. CyberCorps staff designed the website

Party-favors.com is another ecommerce site owned by Ad Specialties of Middleton. This site sells theme hats for parties, events, conventions, etc. as well as other party favor items. We redesigned the banner using a flash element, upgraded the quality of the images and added more search engine optimization.
BrightWorks, Marblehead MA

Brightworks is an website application development
firm that develops backend systems based on its own proprietary
software “WYMSY” to facilitate ecommerce for clients
selling product and services on line. This system puts the content
management into the hands of the customer and reduces the cost
and reliance on expensive web developers. Brightworks contacted
CyberCorps to become a partner. They no longer wanted to provide
design services and wanted to concentrate staff time on improving
the functionality of its software and increase its adoption among
new customers. Brightworks was looking to outsource the design
and was considering offshoring the design to India when someone
suggested they contact CyberCorps. Brightworks and CyberCorps
worked on four projects on a trial basis doing everything from
design to assisting existing customers with their content management
and the principals of Brightworks were impressed. Brightworks
now refers many design projects to CyberCorps. The partnership
has become a very productive and fun endeavor for both parties.
